Cindy K. Green

Cindy was born in California but now resides in North Carolina with her husband and two young sons. Growing up, she loved reading and writing, but her heart always lay in teaching. After graduating from college with a degree in history, Cindy taught Jr. High for four years in just about every subject. After the birth of her second child, she was able to stay home and focus on her writing as well as homeschool her children. In her spare time, she loves reading, photography, scrapbooking, Period Dramas, and spending time with family. Cindy writes Inspirational, Contemporary, Suspense, Fantasy and Historical.

Sarita, what kind of drawing do you do?

Cindy, how do you juggle homeschooling with your writing?

Hey Deidre,
I have no idea how I juggle it. :D It is a task but I just have to take the free moments I do have. I also schedule writing times on certain evenings when my husband is home.

Deidre, thanks so much for stopping by.

I like to draw what I see. We live in the country so there are always flowers, birds, trees and the seasonal changes to inspire me. I sketch a lot but I like to work with watercolor pencils, too. I doubt I'll ever be an accomplished artist but it is a hobby I've enjoyed since childhood. Very peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for asking! :)

Oh my, that's got to be tough, Cindy. I don't know if I could write at the end of a long day. I give you lots of credit for being able to do so!

I think my brain shuts down after dinnertime. ;-)

Sarita, What a great premise for a story. It is truly a story of hope. Julie

Snowdance is the story of a life well lived, and the possibilities that are open to us every day of our lives, if we only open ourselves to seeing them.

Cindy, I hate to see The Spirit of Christmas going out of print. They sound like some heartwarming stories.

Hi Julie,
Me too. But maybe I'll rewrite it one day and resubmit it to a new publisher.
