It sounds like you keep pressing through and do not allow the stumbles to block your path! The books sound wonderful... added to my TBR! [And btw - it has been so long since I read Jane Austin that I do not think to compare other regencies to her! :)]Martha Eskuchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14403539348594584733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-42437319798007369642009-05-21T11:01:06.342-04:002009-05-21T11:01:06.342-04:00Nice interview. I'm looking forward to exploring your voice.

Also-five kids? Wow! I have four, one in college and I still can't seem to find the time I need to do everything I need to do. You're amazing.DanielleThornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993889577292227348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-90706449431606547542009-05-20T17:35:03.260-04:002009-05-20T17:35:03.260-04:00Linore,

I have one aggravating hubby (LOL)in the house (the kids are grown and gone), and I still have trouble making time to write.

I think those who have never attempted to write, think we just sit down and the words flow gracefully from our brains to our fingertips. Not so, though some days or hours they seem to.

I, like you, find that time spent in communion with God makes the words come more easily.

You are one busy lady! I have been tied up in book signings, presentations, but mostly fishing through tons of daily email.

Starting today, I am going to take Pam Thibodeaux's advice. "Don't allow yourself to get online until you have first written a page or two."

I did that today, and it was nearly 2 p.m. before I got online. I almost panicked a time or two worrying about the replies to a couple emails. But...I got some writing in. More than I can say for the last few weeks.

My son sent me "Before The Season Ends" for Mother's Day. I'm reading Miss Mae's "Said the Spider to the Fly" since it came in first. And loving it. Can't wait to start on your book.

If I win this contest, I want the SECOND book in the sequel. Hee-hee!

Great advice for writer's block and finding time to write. I'm taking it.

God bless your efforts as only He can!
LaurieLaurean Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06242693739806417138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-78830523855952428412009-05-20T13:54:21.210-04:002009-05-20T13:54:21.210-04:00Linore, you got me into HIstoricals so you will al...Linore, you got me into HIstoricals so you will always hold a special place in my heart. I STILL haven't read the second book but things are slowing down at home. I really want to sit down and be able to enjoy it. I LOVED Before the Season Ends and can't wait for their story to continue.

Rock on Linore!

Your #1 fan (other than your immediate family of course!)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02482380697231564630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-34274530778076444322009-05-20T12:45:39.612-04:002009-05-20T12:45:39.612-04:00Great interview, Linore, with some thought-provoki...Great interview, Linore, with some thought-provoking questions from Cindy. That's wonderful you have so many books planned, and so much more happening for your characters. :)

Fantastic review, Cindy. I think our Ms. Linore will be going places with her beautiful writing style. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-61279603209170055192009-05-20T12:21:59.853-04:002009-05-20T12:21:59.853-04:00Thank you, Linore, and Cindy. The most prolific authors could be compared to Olympic athletes! Maybe as writers we should look at our goal-setting and scheduling the same way an athlete views physical training, working to build up our endurance and stamina!
And I appreciate writers who see a "gap" in the Christian market and strive to fill it!
Blessings,
NikiNiki Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10419436634375255412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-79492705402831863072009-05-20T11:41:36.831-04:002009-05-20T11:41:36.831-04:00My absolute favorite genre of books is Inspiration...My absolute favorite genre of books is Inspirational/Historical/Romance. This excerpt has me so intrigued that I have just added this series of books to my "must read" list!

As a would be writer myself, I find myself just writing little bits at a time due to family schedules, etc. It's very encouraging to read that an established author has to deal with so many of the same issues. :)Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06627100891908577662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046569724322763878.post-32050775465015012442009-05-20T10:29:15.289-04:002009-05-20T10:29:15.289-04:00Thanks for being here today, Linore.
